Supreme Court expects Wike for PEPT 2023 Judgment

Arriving at the Supreme Court is Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory’s (FCT) Minister, to witness the verdict on the 2023 presidential election case.

With his affiliation to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu, the minister is present at the apex court to await the decision on the appeals challenging the president’s election.

Justice Inyang Okoro, the leader of the seven-member Supreme Court panel, is already present at the court and has exchanged greetings with the attending attorneys.

Abdullahi Aliyu has announced his representation on behalf of the Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC), while Chris Uche is standing for Atiku Abubakar and the PDP. Akintola Makinde is holding a brief for Tinubu, and Olumide Olujinmi is representing the APC.
